First off… here is a chance to get 2 Months Of Free Dental SEO

Let’s be honest, a big block of writing doesn’t always do the trick.

If it’s time to come up with ideas for content, blog posts, social media, and anything else that boosts SEO for dentists, and you’re coming up dry, here are ten ideas that you can use to spice up that content machine.

Whether you don’t fancy yourself a writer or you’re just having serious writer’s block, use these ideas to power through and continue to improve your SEO:

1. Curate content for your blog.

If you’re like most dentists, you like to keep up with what’s new and happening in the world of dentistry.

At the very least, you probably follow a couple of newsfeeds or blogs that routinely publish interesting articles relevant to teeth and mouth hygiene.

Curating content is a great way to steal some juice from blogs and websites that are already in good standing with Google and to include some keywords and a good deal of content, without having to do too much of the legwork yourself.

Simply collect links to articles your patients (and potential patients) are likely to be interested in, write a short synopsis, and then post.

Easy as that.

2. Have a staff member interview you and post the recording as audio or video.

As long as you include a little description and the proper meta tags, this can be a great, low-stress, low-writing content idea.

Google loves different kinds of content, especially videos, since they are rumored to be better at engaging with a site visitor and delivering relevant information than a standard piece of text.

This, of course, varies depending on the individual reader, but a video or audio post can be a great way to add value to your content for those who aren’t jazzed about reading a long written piece.

3. Get someone else to write your post, under the guise of guest posting.

If you’re hitting major writer’s block, it’s time to start soliciting guest posts.

This is an awesome way to get fresh content on your blog (which is integral to any functioning SEO campaign), without having to write a word of it.

If you have a popular dental blog, chances are someone has already offered to guest post on your blog.

If they haven’t, email some of your favorite bloggers and see if they would like to write a post for you.

4. Detail a procedure, with pictures.

If writing isn’t your forte, there’s still plenty you can do to boost your SEO using pictures.

Pictures themselves can be coded with keywords, so that they can still help your campaign, without very much text actually being necessary.

Find a patient who is willing to let you take pictures throughout a procedure, and then post them with a few short captions to explain what’s happening.

This can be a great way to sooth the nerves of a patient who is going in for that procedure.

5. Write a review of a product that you want your patients to use.

Some brands will pay you for writing reviews—what I’m talking about is writing an honest, unsolicited review of a product that you would (and probably do) genuinely recommend to your patients, either for general use or for a specific problem.

Writing a review of something you actually believe in is much easier than writing a well-researched, helpful, information blog post, but it can be just as valuable.

6. Create a master-post of your old posts.

If you’ve written quite a few posts about how to keep teeth clean or the value of getting implants over dentures and you have a week when you genuinely do not have any other ideas for content creation, it’s time to go back through the posts and collect links to them in a new post, with a little description of why someone should read that post.

Linking inside your own website is great for SEO.

7. Compile relevant statistics.

You probably already have some statistical information in your patients’ charts that you can draw on (anonymously, of course).

If not, search the internet and look for stats that your readers might find interesting, like how many people in their state have cavities, how many fillings the average person has, how many people have to have more specialized procedures like implants, root canals, etc.

Even just a bulleted list of statistics might be helpful.

8. Create an infographic.

With today’s tools, making an infographic is extremely easy.

It can even be done in Word or PowerPoint, if you do not have any familiarity with the most common design programs.

All you need are some relevant dentistry statistics and some short blips of content, all cited, and you can make a graphic that is great for sharing and therefore great for boosting your dental SEO.

9. Build a Pinterest board.

This is one you probably haven’t heard before—instead of writing anything for your own blog, why not start a Pinterest board?

All you have to do is sign up using your office’s name and start pulling together relevant articles, infographics, and tips from around the internet.

10. Make a how-to slideshow on SlideShare.

SlideShare is a great marketing tool and all you really need is some facts and a few graphics, all of which can be found for free online, and you can put together a how-to slideshow that details better tooth brushing techniques, the pros and cons of implants over dentures, and more.
